Pojega Garden
Location: Negrar di Valpolicella
Pojega Garden is a stunning example of an Italian-style garden, commissioned by Count Antonio Rizzardi in 1783 and designed by architect Luigi Trezza. Extending across an area of 54,000m2, this historic garden is famous for its scenic beauty and integration of the art and culture of the time. In addition to visiting the garden, you can also sample the wines from Guerrieri Rizzardi Winery at the wine shop located in the historic Villa Rizzardi.
Parco Natura Viva
Location: Bussolengo
The perfect attraction for animal and nature lovers. This park is involved in various conservation, research and environmental education projects and promotes awareness of biodiversity and the protection of endangered species. There are two routes to enjoy: “Safari”, where you can admire the animals from your car, and “Faunistico”, a walking area featuring various exotic species.
Varone Waterfalls
Location: Riva del Garda
The Varone Waterfalls are a unique natural spectacle featuring a 98-metre waterfall inside a narrow limestone gorge. The visit includes two observation points: the Lower Cave and the Upper Cave, connected by a path through a botanical garden. It makes for a wonderful outing that treats you to cool refreshment, even on the hottest days.
Molina Waterfalls
Location: Fumane
The Waterfall Park of Molina spans an area of 80,000m2 and features numerous waterfalls as well as diverse flora and fauna. It has three hiking routes that let you explore the waterfalls, including Black Fall, Bear Fall and Green Fall. And stunning nature isn’t all you can admire around Molina: the town itself is a place that exudes historic charm where you’ll find ancient mills and local products.
Sigurtà Garden Park
Location: Valeggio sul Mincio
Sigurtà Garden Park is one of the most acclaimed gardens in the world. At 60 hectares, the park offers a variety of botanical attractions, including the Boulevard of Roses, the Maze, the Water Gardens and the Great Lawn. Each season treats you to spectacular flowerings, making the park an ideal destination for nature lovers and walking fans all year round.
Madonna della Corona
Location: Spiazzi di Ferrara di Monte Baldo
The Sanctuary of Madonna della Corona is a pilgrimage site nestled against the rugged mountainside of Mt Baldo. Famous for its stunning panoramic location, it offers a unique spiritual experience and truly breathtaking views. Founded in 1522, the sanctuary is accessible via a footpath or by road.
